Reverse Confetti...ColourQ # 251 & Sketch Saturday # 320...BeBe Bunny!

Hey stampin' friends! Just hopping by to share a card that I made for the ColourQ Colour Challenge # 251 and I used the Sketch Saturday # 320 too! Reverse Confetti had a Quirky Cuties Blog Hop the other day and after seeing all that cuteness I was inspired to pull out one of my RC Quirky Cuties Stamp set - BeBe Bunny!

Here is the pretty colour combo that they have over at ColourQ

and this is the fab sketch that I used!

I made my card-base 6X6 and used American Craft Cardstock and BasicGrey Soleil and Fresh Cut 6X6 paper pads. I did some masking on this image and stamped not one bunny but three with the Reverse Confetti BeBe Bunny Stamp set! I paper pieced their dresses and handbags and coloured them up with my Copics. I cut the image out with the Mini Album Bracket STAX Die-namics and left the image in the die and inked with Milled Lavender Distress Ink.

I stamped part of the sentiment from the BeBe Bunny Stamp set and the "HOORAY" is from the Oliver Owl Stamp set on the tag cut with the Tag Me Confetti Cuts. I stamped it in Grape Jelly Premium Dye ink and stamped the 4 little hearts from the Go Together Stamp set in Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink. The sketch called for a star but I added some hearts cut with the Love Note Confetti Cuts. I embellished with AC hemp cord and a smattering of Grape Sparkly Gumdrops from Your Next Stamp.

I finished the inside of my card, as per usual! I stamped a shadow image of BeBe Bunny in Grape Jelly Premium Dye ink on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Cardstock. I used the Love Note, Class Act and Tag Me Confetti Cuts for my sentiment panel and the Pierced Fishtail Flags. I stamped part of the sentiment from the BeBe Bunny Stamp set and spelled out "bunnies" with the Lighthearted Letters in Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at my BeBe Bunny card for the ColourQ # 251 and Sketch Saturday # 320 challenges.

Reverse Confetti...July Colour Challenge...Happy Birthday!

Hello stampin' friends! My package of new Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts from the July release arrived! New stash is always the perfect reason to make a card and The Reverse Confetti July Color Challenge is such a great combo this month; another great reason to get crafty!!!

http://reverseconfetti.com/2014/07/16/july-color-challenge/

I used MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Sweet Tooth, Bubblegum, Blu Raspberry and Sour Apple

As I said, the Reverse Confetti July Color Challenge is a such a pretty color palette but I also drew inspiration for this birthday card from the great inspirational photo of the funky cake and fun icing flowers. To make my version of some "icing" flowers I pulled out my Liquitex Light Modeling Paste and mixed it with Peacock Feathers Distress ink on my non-stick craft sheet with a palette knife and used the MFT Delicate Doily Stencil.

I used the Reverse Confetti Petals n' Posies Stamp Set and Petals 'n Posies Confetti Cuts to make all the pretty flowers layered over the new Tag Me, Too Confetti Cuts. I also used the new Diagonal Stripe Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts and stamped a sentiment with the Beautiful Banners Stamp set and Beautiful Banners Confetti Cuts.

I finished off the inside of the card too, as always! I used the Love Notes Confetti Cuts, Class Act Confetti Cuts and layered over the new Diagonal Stripe Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts. I had to add a few more Petals 'n Posies and stamped another sentiment from the Beautiful Banners Stamp set on the the small tag from the Tag Me Confetti Cuts.

Thanks for swingin' by and havin' a little look at my card for the Reverse Confetti July Color Challenge!

My Favorite Things Stamps...Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge & WSC # 185...Congrats

Hello stampin' friends! We just got back from our camping trip to Arrowhead Provincial Park and even though the weather wasn't great we still had a great time! It was SO good to kick back, relax and read my book (The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith A.K.A. J.K. Rowling) at the beach. Feeding the chipmunks peanuts was the main source of entertainment at our site since it was quite overcast and cool. Chris and Kieran did a little fishing and Chris spied the black bear that lives at Arrowhead...eeekkk...glad I wasn't with them for that! We also had YUMMY S'mores and Chris showed off his expertise at roasting the perfect marshmallow. Every year we plan our camping trip to Arrowhead Park around the Huntsville Midnight Madness...camping and shopping...how can you go wrong with that :D

Well, I thought I would make a card today now that I 'm back to civilization :) and they have an Anything Goes challenge over at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge for their Anniversary...CONGRATS, Curtain Call!!! They have an AMAZING line-up of sponsors to celebrate the big day and I was SO inspired by the great inspirational photo they have this week, I had to join in! I paired the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge with the My Favorite Things Stamps - Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge # 185...MFT just so happens to be one of the FABULOUS  companies sponsoring the Curtain Call Challenge too!!!!

Here is the fabulous sketch that they have this week at MFT!!!

I took a lot of inspiration for this card from the fabulous Curtain Call Inspiration photo. I made the card with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Whip Cream and I stamped the Sno Cone panel with the Romantic Script Background Stamp in Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink. I made my frame with the stitched large rectangle die from Blueprints 13 and used the Rectangle STAX die-namics and ran it through the Cuttlebug again to cut out the middle and create the Pink Lemonade frame.

 photo CC0715MFTWSC185B_edited-1RS2_zps3141cb4b.jpg

In the inspiration photo there is a poof of soft green hydrangeas on the desk and so I used the Gerbera Daisy Die-namics to create this pretty Spearmint flower! I cut out the Gerbera Daisy from Spearmint Heavyweight Card Stock, inked the petals with Spearmint Premium dye Ink to add a more depth of colour and popped up the layers of the flower with dimensional adhesive squares.  To add a little somthin' somthin', I picked up on the silver accents in the inspirational photo and embossed the sentiment from the LLD happy Graduation Stamp set in Silver Detail Embossing Powder. The sentiment is stamped on a tag cut with the Pierced Traditional Tag STAX cut from Whip Cream Heavyweight Card Stock and tied with AC twine. I used the circle dies that come with the Gerbera Daisy Die-namics die and cut out silver glittery dots and sprinkled them around the card.

I finished off the inside of the card too...I added a few more pretty Spearmint Gerbera Daisies and stamped a sentiment from the LJD Together Forever Stamp set in Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink.

Thanks SO much for popping by and havin' a little look at my card for the Curtain Call Inspirational Challenge - Anything Goes and the MFTWSC185!
