I took the opportunity to scrap some pics of our recent cruise on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas. This double paged layout is of our excursion on Day 4 of our cruise. Our Port of Call was St. Thomas USVI and since we have been to St. Thomas before we decided to take a boat tour to St. John USVI.  After the boat tour from St. Thomas to St. John we were able to spend a few hours at a beautiful beach at Hawk's Nest Bay. It was just like a little piece of paradise and we practically had it all to ourselves. We had a wonderful time soaking up the sun and the kids loved jumping the huge waves and swimming in the ocean! Unfortunately, I didn't get any good pics of the huge waves. For my layout I used Teresa Collins Tell your Story 12X12 papers.  I used the NEW Journal it - Calendar Basics and NEW Document it - Days and Dates and the Insert it - 3X4 Insert Die-namics.

 Photobucket

I created my title using the High-Rise Uppercase and Lowercase Alphabet Die-namics and I also used some of the letters and numbers from the Accent it - Calendar Components and Story Starters.

 Photobucket

I added a few MFT Tangy Orange and Blue Raspberry buttons tied with Hemp cord here and there to embellish and cut a few small butterflies with the Butterflies Die-namics and Notched Tag Die-namics.

Photobucket

Here is the second page of the double spreed. I flipped the sketch to accommodate the pictures that I had and to change things up a bit. I also added a few little sentiments from three PI stamp sets and stamped them on pattern paper cut with the Sentiment Strips Die-namics.

Photobucket

I used the Insert it - 3X4 Insert Die-namics and the Journal It - Top 10 and the Accent it - Flags and Tags and Howdy Die-namics.

Photobucket

Here is a close up of a little embellishment that I made using the First Class Friend Stamps and Die-namics, the Accent it - Tags and Flags, and my Circle STAX Die-namics.

Photobucket

Here I used the Jumbo Fishtail Banner Die-namics, the Accent it Flags and Tags Die-namics and the cute little heart die from the Accent it - Calendar Components.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my scrapbooking pages with this month's MFTSCRAP2 sketch! I look forward to seeing all your fabulous layouts with this month's sketch! This is the great sketch that we have this week for you to use!!!

I decided to ink up this super cute a´ la modes Ski Bunny for the first time, if you can believe it. She is also in the SPECIALS section over at the MFT on-line boutique. I had to pair her with this gorgeous BoBunny Powder Mountain 6x6 pad that I picked up at my local stamp store and used MFT Nightshift Blue, Steel Grey and Sweet Tooth Heavyweight card stock. I coloured the ALM Ski Bunny girl with Copics and paper pieced her. I used a wood-grain paper from a MME pad to paper piece her skies. I also used some My Favorite Felt Whisper Grey Felt that is also on sale in the SPECIALS section MFT on-line boutique. I cut out several snowflakes from the felt using the Let it Snow Die-namics and the NEW Jumbo Snowflake Die-namics and added a few Kraft Buttons with brown twine.

 Photobucket

Here is a detail shot of the sweet ALM Ski Bunny girl...I used one of the cute sentiments from the set and stamped it on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight card stock cut with one of the sentiment strip dies from the Sentiments Strip Die-namics.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped the ALM Ski Bunny girl again in light blue ink and used the Clearly Sentimental Label Die-namics and the Layered Labels Die-namics to cut out a frame from Sweet tooth and Nightshift Blue Heavyweight Card Stock and stamped another one of the cute sentiments from the set. I added a few more Whisper Grey felt snowflakes with Kraft Buttons.

I made two cards for today's previews of the gorgeous new holiday  a´  la modes. I adore the ALMs and these two are super cute! For my first card I used the super sweet NEW a´ la modes, You Shine...I love her to bits and she was so fun to colour with my Copics. I thought she would go perfectly with the BasicGrey Aspen Frost 6x6 papers and MFT Sno Cone, Natural and Sweet Tooth Heavyweight cardstock. I cut the image with my Rectangle STAX Die-namics and inked with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I am SO in love with the NEW Jumbo Snowflake Die-namics and cut it from corrugated sparkly white cardstock and I cut several other smaller snowflakes with the Let it Snow Die-namics. I added a border cut with the Wonky Scalloped Border Die-namics and I added some Sweet Tooth Grosgrain ribbon and Sno Cone button tied with Hemp cord.  For the sentiment I stamped only part of the sentiment from the NEW ALM You Shine stamp set to fit on the little tag cut with the NEW Decorative Circle tag STAX Die-namics...I love this new Die-namics too.

Photobucket
Here is the inside of my card...I stamped the NEW ALM You Shine girl again and added a few more snowflakes and stamped another sentiment from the ALM You Shine stamp set on Kraft cardstock cut with one of the Sentiment strips.

Photobucket

Now for my second card I inked up the NEW ALM Sparkling Season!!! I adore her too and can't decided which one is my fave I LOVE them both. I coloured the Sparkling Season girl with my Copic. I used more BasicGrey Aspen Frost 6x6 papers and I also used the NEW Darling Dots Stamp set and stamped them with Embossing ink and embossed them with AC Zing Opaque White embossing powder on Wild Cherry and Sno Cone Heavyweight Card Stock. I then cut out the ALM girl and pop-dotted her on the red glittery corrugated Jumbo Snowflake cut with the NEW Jumbo Snowflake Die-namics.

Photobucket

I cut the Darling Dots embossed panels with the NEW Snow Drifts Edge Die-namics. The Snow Drift Die-namics die is fabulous and can be used in some many different ways not just to create snow drifts...here I just used it to create a whimsical wave to my papers. I added some Wild Cherry Grosgrain ribbon and a Sno Cone Button with Hemp Cord. I also added a few other red sparkly snowflakes cut with the Let it Snow Die-namics and 3 white BasicGrey painted Brads.

Photobucket

Here is a detail shot of the ALM Sparkling Season girl....she is SO cute!

Photobucket

Here is the inside of my card...I used the Sweet Stack Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to create the sentiment panel. I added a loop of Wild Cherry Grosgrain Ribbon and I made a bow from Wild Cherry Heavyweight Card Stock with the NEW Dainty Bows Die-namics.

Thanks SO much for stopping by today and have a little look at my card featuring the NEW a´ la modes You Shine Stamp and Sparkling Season stamp sets. Please take a few minutes and pop on over to Kim's blog for links to all the other MFT Designers with cards to share today!
