Photobucket

For my card today, I have inked up the adorable Pure Innocence Freckles! I love her to bits and thought she would go perfectly with this bright and cherry, Authentique Lively 6x6 paper pad. I coloured PI Freckles with my Copics and paper pieced her out-fit. I used the RECTANGLE STAX Die-namics, Monarch Border Die-namics and the Pretty Posies Die-namics. The sentiment is from the PI Freckles Stamp set. I stamped it on white cardstock cut with one of the mini tab Die-namics from the Mini Tab Foursome Die-namics. To embellish I added pink gems to the Monarch border and some glittery ribbon from my stash!

Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped the PI Freckles girl again and added a sentiment panel with the Layered Labels Die-namics. I stamped another cute sentiment on white cardstock cut with the Fishtail Flags Die-namics and added anther cute Pretty Posies flower.

So, I made a card with this great sketch and I inked up this cutie, a´ la modes, The Rainbow Will Come. I coloured her up with my Copics and did some paper piecing. I paired her with this sunny and happy Authentique paper called Delightful! I used the Ticket Tab Die-namics as per the sketch but used the long side so that it would fit the sentiment from the ALM The Rainbow will Come stamp set. I also used the Open Scallop Border Die-namics and the Plentiful Petals Die-namics to make this pretty, pretty flower.

Photobucket
Here is the inside of my card...I stamped the ALM The Rainbow will Come girl again and the other sentiment that comes in the set. I used the Well Worn Label Die-namics and the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for the sentiment. I couldn't resist adding another gorgeous Plentiful Petals Die-namics flower....love the beautiful assortment of MFT Flower Die-namics...so easy to make coordinating embellishments this way.

Today, I have a fun and bright card with the ROCKIN' a´ la modes Rock Star stamp set and this fabulous Authentiqe Celebrate 6x6 paper pad! What a fun combo! I coloured the ALM Rock Star girl with my Copics and cut her out and popped her up on the square panel cut with the SQUARE STAX Die-namics. I also used the Star STAX Die-namics, Stacking Stars Die-namics and the Medium Simply Scallop Border Die-namics. The sentiment from the ALM Rock Star stamp set is stamped on patterned paper cut with a mini tab from the Mini Tab Foursome Die-namics. I added some gingham ribbon and a sprinkling of black bling here and there!

Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped the ALM Rock Star girl again in red ink and I made the sentiment panel with the Designer Label 4 STAX and the OVAL STAX Die-namics. Photobucket

So, I made 3 cards for today's Pure Innocence Costumed Cuties VIP Kit! I just adored these sweet PI Costumed Cuties and wanted to use both of them and also show you the fabulous NEW Peek-a-Boo Trio Die-namics. I can't wait to use this Peek-a-Boo Trio with my other PI stamps...SO many possibilities with this fun new Die-namics! I stamped and coloured the super cute Prehistoric Girl and Owl Costume girl and strategically cut them out with the Peek-a-Boo Die-namics. I also stamped and cut out a sentiment from, the EXCLUSIVE Mini Sentiments set, for the middle circle and used one of my fave border Die-namics, the new Triple Scallop Border.
Photobucket

Here is the inside...I thought this card would make a fun invitation to a Halloween costume party and there is the perfect sentiment to make a party invitation in the EXCLUSIVE Mini Sentiments set. I used the Sweet Stack Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Die-namics.

Photobucket

This card features the precious NEW PI Owl Costume girl! I adore her to bits and had SO much fun colouring her with my Copics and adding in some ground and grass with my PrismaColor pencils. I guess this card is CAS for me as I love lots of layers and embellies and I kept this card pretty simple but I'm really happy with how it turned out. I actually used the negative Kraft cardstock circle from the Peek-a-Boo Die-namics as a tag for my sentiment and I used the Jumbo Squiggle Border Die-namics.
Photobucket

Here is the inside...pretty simple again. I used another cute sentiment from the Costumed Cuties VIP EXCLUSIVE Mini Sentiments set and the Sweet Stack Die-namics.

Photobucket

This card features the NEW PI Prehistoric Girl...SO sweet...she reminds me of Pebbles, smile. I coloured her with my Copics and added in grass and some stones with my PrismaColor Pencils. I really wanted to give her a leopard skin dress and this BasicGrey Little Black Dress paper pad that I used on all these cards had the perfect paper in it! Again, I used the negative Kraft circle cut from the Peek-a-Boo Die-namics to make a tag and stamped a few "dinosaur"  tracks on the tag with the included accessory stamp.

Photobucket
Here is the inside...I made a few more "dinosaur" tracks with wee accessory stamp from the Prehistoric Girl Stamp set. I think you could also use this stamp to create a leopard patterned dress for her.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my cards for this month's Pure Innocence Costumed Cuties VIP Collection. Here is this week's fabulous sketch! Hope you can join us!

Photobucket

This week I made a card with the beautiful Inspired By Butterflies and used the coordinating Inspired By Butterflies Die-namics. I'm on a bit of a Authentique kick lately, used some scrumptious, Authentique Carefree 6x6 papers. I also pulled out my sewing machine and did a little more machine stitching...still getting the hang of it. I deviated a little bit from the sketch. The bracket tab along the main panel didn't fit in with my card so I did use it. I used the new Designer Label 4 STAX Die-namics and the Triple Scallop border Die-namics. I also added a bit of cotton lace trim and a few half-pearls along the Triple Scallop border.

Photobucket
Here is the inside....I added another wonderful sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Butterflies and this time stamped it on pattern paper cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics layered over the Designer Label 4 STAX Die-namics.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card with this week Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch! Remember, the lucky winner will receive a $15 gift voucher and if the winner uses MFT stamps, they will receive $5 in bonus bucks, for a total of $20. So what are you waiting for? Get Sketchy!!!! My Favorite Things Stamps...August Design Team Creative Challenge...Mini Books!

Photobucket

Welcome to The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge, this is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to create a mini-book.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have put their MFT stamps and/or Die-namics dies to work to create a mini book for you today!

It was such a great opportunity to do a little scrapbooking again...it has been so long since I did any and a mini-book was the perfect way to get my feet wet again! It was also the perfect time to use these pictures that we took 3 years ago when we went to Disney for Hannah's 10th birthday! I had originally intended to make a 12X12 album of this trip but I kept putting it off as I find 12X12 a little overwhelming now after working on 6x6 cards. This smaller 6x6 flip book was perfect size for me to preserve these Disney memories and I really enjoyed the trip down memory lane. I have to say that my husband was also very happy to see me scrapbooking again...he always love seeing the end result.

I have made this kind of flip book before and it is so easy. I think this Flip book pattern has been around for ages so I didn't include a tutorial and I already have a ton of pics for you in this post. One little note about my book...in the past I made a book like this using a sturdy double-sided patterned cardstock paper but this time I decided to make it from Kraft cardstock. I'm happy with how it turned out but unfortunately it is a little too think. I think I added too many layers (go figure) and now it is kind of bursting at the seams and doesn't  want to close.

Photobucket

So here we go...I have lots of pics so bear with me...these are the first 2 pages as you flip open the book. I made this Mini Flip book 6x6 from Kraft cardstock and Echo Park, This and That, Graceful 6X6 and 12X12 papers.  On the cover I Stamped a sentiment from the Big Greetings Stamp set on pattern paper cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. I also used the Pretty Posies Die-namics and the Circle Tag from the Let's Toast Die-namics. I stamped the number 10 from the First Place Award Stamps set. I also used part of a sentiment from the PI Cute-a-tude Stamp set and stamped it on a mini Bracket Tab from the Mini Tab Foursome Die-namics.

Photobucket

I used Medium Simply Scalloped border Die-namics, Pretty Posies Die-namics, the Leafy Flourish Die-namics and stamped a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Audry Hepburn Stamp set on pattern paper cut with the Fishtail Flags Die-namics.

Photobucket

On this page I used the Open Scallop Doily Duo and another flower with the Pretty Posies Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment from the More Essential Sentiments stamp set on pattern paper cut with the Fishtail Flags and I used used the Just the Ticket Stamp and Die-namics set.
Photobucket

This is the next section opened....

Photobucket

On this page I used the Pretty Posies Die-namics and Leafy Flourish Die-namics again. I stamped a sentiment from the Complimentary Greetings Sentiment set, the Framed Greetings Die-namics and a few more Fishtail Flags.
Photobucket

On this page I used the Just the Ticket Stamp and Die-namics set again and the Fishtail Flags Die-namics. I cut a heart from burlap material with the Hearts of Plenty Die-namics and added a button with Button Quartet Die-namics. I stamped this sentiment from the Girly Graphic Tee Stamp set and stamped it on a portion of the Vertical Greetings Die-namics.
Photobucket

Here is the next section...
Photobucket

On this page I used the Open Scallop Doily Duo again and my Circle STAX Die-namics. I cut hearts with from burlap material and corrugated cardstock with the Hearts of Plenty Die-namics and added another cute button cut with the Button Quartet Die-namics. I used the new Triple Scallop Border Die-namics and a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Audry Hepburn. I also used the Square and Rectangle STAX Die-namics to cut out my larger pictures and to make the mats. They are perfect for this and cut the photos perfectly.

Photobucket

On this small flap I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics, the Open Scallop Doily Duo and the Circle STAX Die-namics.  I used the Behind the Camera Stamps and Die-namics Stamp Set and the Typewriter Alphabet stamp set to and in the WDW to customize my Disney album. I also stamped a sentiment from the Pure Innocence Naptime on the Bracket Tab Die-nmaics.

Photobucket

This is the middle of the book totally open.

Photobucket

I think this is my favourite page in the book...I stamped a sentiment from the Behind the Camera Stamp Set on pattern paper cut with the Fishtail Flags.  On the side flap I stamped a sentiment from the Vertical Greetings on the Vertical Greetings II Die-namics.

Photobucket

I add a little embellishment cluster with the Pretty Posies Die-namics and the Circle Tag from the Let's Toast Die-namics and the little tea cup is from the Always Time for Team Die-namics.

Photobucket

On this flap I stamped a sentiment from the Vertical Greetings II Stamp set on the Vertical Greetings Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Die-namics.

 Photobucket

I also really like how this page turned out too...

Photobucket

Here I used the Fishtail Flag Die-namics and I stamped a sentiment from the Say What Stamp Set.

Photobucket

I used the Open Scallop Doily Duo Die-namics again with another sentiment from the Behind the Camera Stamps set and I used the Typewriter Alphabet Stamp set again. I also used the Designer Label 3 STAX Die-namics and the Triple Scallop Border Die-namics.

 Photobucket

On this flap I used the At the Movies Die-namics and a sentiment from the Behind the Camera Stamps set.

Photobucket

When you open the flaps it reveals this section.

Photobucket

Here I used the small circle tag from the Let's Toast Die-namics and I stamped just a portion of one of the stamps from the Vertical Greetings Stamp set. I also used the Fishtail Flags and Pretty Posies Die-namics. I also stamped a sentiment from the Pure Innocence Fairy Girl stamp set.

Congratulations....you made it to the end! Thanks SO much for sticking with it and for stopping by and having a look at the Mini Flip Book that I made for this month's MFT Creative Challenge! I hope that it encourages you to use your MFT Stamps and Die-namics for your mini-books, albums and scrapbooking pages. I have lots of pictures left over that I couldn't squeeze into this mini book but this project has sparked my inner-scrapbooker and I think I will be tackling that 12X12 album that I was planning on making after all.

Now, head on over to Kim's blog for links to all the MFT Designers who have taken this Month's Creative Challenge and created gorgeous mini-books...I know you will be inspired!!!

Happy Stampin'!
