Photobucket
Hey stampin' friends! Just wanted to pop on here real quick tonight and post this card that I made for the MFTWSC60 sketch challenge.
Photobucket
I used this sweet PI Violin Girl stamp set and my beloved Botanical Beauty Die-namics dies and these gorgeous new MME Miss Caroline Dill Dally 6x6 papers.  I also used the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namics and the Open Scalloped Border Die-namics. I added some Maraschino Twinery Twine and a BG button and a sprinkling of red gems here and there.
Photobucket
 Here is the inside...pretty simple.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card for the MFTWSC60.

Hope you have a stampin' great week!

La-La Land Crafts...Inspiration Friday...The Great Outdoors!

Photobucket
I am back with my second post for today and my very first La-La Land Crafts card....Whoo-hoo!! I'm super happy with how this card turned out too. I got this adorable Capri Marci and two other Marci stamps from Lora at One Crazy Stamper. She had a few La-La Land stamps on sale and I have been SO tempted by Inge and Jo's gorgeous La-La Land creations that I just couldn't resist these CUTE stamps any longer.

I made this card for the La-La Land Crafts blog Friday Inspiration Theme...The Great Outdoors. Since I only have a few La-La Land stamps to pick from I decided to use Capri Marci and created a bit of an outdoor scene around her with QuicKutz and MFT Die-namics. The Sentiment is from MFT Great Outdoors Sentiments Set.
Photobucket
I used more gorgeous MME Miss Caroline paper this time from the Dolled Up 6x6 paper pad. I coloured Marci with my Copics and cut her out and sat her on some grass cut with a QuicKutz 2x2 die. The clouds, tent and tress are also QuicKutz 2x2 dies. I am glad I got to use them and really should try and use them more often since I have so many from my scrapbooking days. I used several MFT Die-namics dies here too...they will be down at the bottom in my supplies list. I embellished with some lace trim, hemp twine, white half pearls, and some Wild Orchid Crafts cherry blossoms.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped Capri Marci with Lady Bug Memento ink and used another sentiment from the MFT The Great Outdoors stamp set.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by again and having a wee peek at my very first La-La Land Crafts card. I have a feeling this won't be my last...oh boy, just what I need another stamp addiction, lol!

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 59....Meow Meow = I Love You!

Photobucket

Meow, stampin' friends, smile!  Hope all my fellow Ontarians are enjoying the long weekend with today off for Family Day! I have had a wonderfully lazy weekend and spent all day Saturday watching all of the first season of Game of Thrones on HBO Canada. Kraftin' Kimmie told me about the books and the HBO series and  now I'm totally addicted too. I just downloaded the books onto my e-reader...gotta get reading before Season 2 of the series starts.

So, I made this card yesterday for the MFTWSC59 sketch challenge! I deviated a bit from the sketch as I didn't want to cover up this sweet PI girl and her kitten with the sentiment flag, so, I have it going the other way...hope that's okay.
Photobucket
I used this new Pure Innocence girlie from the stamp set called Purrfect, and that she is. I teamed her up with some gorgeous new MME paper pads this one is called Miss Caroline, Fiddlesticks 6x6 paper pad. I love this gorgeous colour combo of yellow and mauve in this pad. I coloured the Purrfect PI girlie with my Copics cut the image out with my Rectangle Nesties, left the image in the die and inked with Scattered Straw Distress ink.  I used my new Botanical Beauty Die-namics die to make the gorgeous flower and added some hemp twine. The sentiment is stamped on white card cut with the ribbon die from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. I just inked up the word "Meow" from one of the sweet sentiments in the Purrfect stamp set and stamped it twice. I also used Joanne's tip to elongate the strip of paper cut with one of the dies from the Mix and Match Banner Die-namics and, of course, I had to sprinkle a few pearls here and there.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped the PI Purrfect girl again in Lulu Lavender Memento ink and used several MFT Die-namics to make the sentiment stack. The sentiment is from another PI Set called Rose. I added a few more flowers using the Botanical Beauty and Perfect Petal Die-namics.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and having a wee peek at my card that I made for the MFTWSC59 Sketch Challenge.

Have a Stampin' Great Day!!!

Hugs,

For my card I have used Rescue Ranger from the SUPERHEROS collection by Annie Rodrigue. I adore this stamp...she is SO cute and everyone needs a Rescue Ranger to save the day now and again. That special friend that knows when to bring the ice cream, tissues and a few good books to help mend a broken heart, chase the blues away or when you're under the weather.  So, I coloured Rescue Ranger with my Copics, cut her out with my circle Nesties and left the image in the die and inked with Spiced Marmalade. The papers are BasicGrey Hopscotch 6x6 papers. I used my MFT Jumbo Monarch Border Die-namics and stamped the sweet sentiment that comes with Rescue Ranger on the Oval Tab Die-namics. I added some Twinery Twine in Shore and a BG button and a sprinkling of chocolatey brown half-pearls.

Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped Rescue Ranger again in Rose Bud Memento ink and used my MFT Layered Labels Die-namics and the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. The sentiment is from Kimmie's Everyday Sentiment set.

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 58....Make a Wish!

Photobucket
Hello stampin' friends! Just a quick post to share a card that I made for the My Favourite Things, Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge # 58! Today is my Mom's b-day so I took the opportunity to use this week's gorgeous sketch and made her this birthday card!

Photobucket

I have been neglecting my super cute MFT A La Mode girlies lately and my Mom always loved the TV show, I dream of Jeannie, so I inked up this CUTE ALM Genie and I coloured her with my Copics markers. I teamed her up with this beautiful Lily Bee paper pad, Head Over Heels, and I used several MFT Die-namics Dies too. I used my 1/4 Rosette Die and followed this video tutorial by Joanne to make this mini Rosette which was the perfect size for my card and I used the circle parts of the Fishtail Banner Die-namics to add to the centre of the rosette. I also used the crown border Die-namics and stamped one of the sentiments from the ALM Genie stamp set on white card cut with the ribbon die from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. To embellish I sprinkled some gems here and there and used my Sakura Star Dust pen for a little glitter to the ALM Genie girlie.

Photobucket
Here is the inside of this card....I stamped the ALM Genie again in Rose Bud Memento ink and used the Layered Labels Die-namics Die and another one of the sweet sentiments that comes in the ALM Genie Stamp set.

Well, I think my mom is going to like her card...I know I'm quite happy with how it turned out! Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card for the MFTWSC58!

Have a stampin' great day!!!

So, I have to tell you "boy" cards are not my fave and I really struggle making masculine cards but this card with Futuristic Stefan came together so easily and I had so much fun colouring him up with my Copics!  I was still on my Si-Fi/Action Movie kick, when making this Stefan card. I used this great MME Kraft Funday 6x6 paper pad. I cut the image out with my long rectangle Nesties and left the image in the die and inked with Old Paper Distress ink and Bundled Twigs.

Photobucket
I used my MFT At the Movies Stamp and Die-namics and the Just the Ticket Stamp sets for the sentiment on the ticket.  I also used the MFT Mini Film Strip Border Die-namics and the Monarch Border Die-namics. I added green gems to the monarch border and then sprinkled a few here and there.
