My Favourite Things...Exciting news and December Teaser Time Day 1...Who's that Girl & Who's That Guy?!

Photobucket
Hello stampin' friends! So glad that you stopped by today! I have some VERY exciting news...YAY!!! I was asked to be a Guest Designer for the My Favorite Things Stamps December Release along side 6 other super duper creative stampers and fellow MFT fans. I am so excited...this is a dream come true!!! Head on over to Kim's blog to see the full list of MFT DT and GDT that have Teasers today!

Well, I have been busy working away on some exciting MFT projects for the new December release, it has been such a blast and I am thrilled to get to share them now!!! I know you are going to LOVE the new release! First up for Teaser Time Day 1 is....Who's that Girl? and Who's that Guy?! This gorgeous set is called May I have this Dance? It is perfect for so many occasions, New Year's Eve, Prom, Anniversary, wedding cards and the list goes on. I have also used the fabulous new Skyline Border Die-namics die that will be available in the new release on December 6th at 10:00 PM EST.
Photobucket
I coloured the Who's that Girl? and Who's that Guy? image with my Copics and teamed it up with some gorgeous BasicGrey Little Black Dress 6x6 patterned papers. I cut the Skyline Die-namics border from thin adhesive chipboard and layered several together to make it a bit thicker. I coloured the windows on the chipboard with a yellow Copic marker and adhered the patterned paper on top. I also used the Perfect Bracket Edge Border Die-namics to add a night sky behind the Skyline Border Die-namics. The sentiment comes in the set and I stamped it on patterned paper cut with the ribbon die from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics Die.
Photobucket
Here is the inside of the card...I added a shadow image of the WTG/WTG by carefully removing the ink on the line that surrounds the image with a baby wipe. I added another Skyline Border Die-namics and another one of the great sentiments that comes in this set.

Photobucket
Hello stampin' friends! I am just popping on here quickly tonight before Castle starts to share a card that I made for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch challenge #47. I decided to try and keep this card simple so this is my take on a CAS card. I bought this 6x6 pad of Authentique Christmas paper called Wonder the other day and I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it....such gorgeous papers!

Photobucket
This card came together so quickly with just one sheet of patterned paper but it looks like lots of layers...love that! I also wanted to ink up this super cute MFT WTG set called Who's that Girl Gets Cozy with Cocoa. I coloured the image with my Copics and paper pieced her scarf and gloves and used one of the super cute sentiments that comes in this set.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped the mug of hot cocoa that comes in the set and another sentiment from the set and I used the Well Worn Greetings Die-namics.

Well, thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card!

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 46....Warm Winter Wishes!

Photobucket
Hey stampin' friends! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I am just quickly popping on here to post this card that I made on the weekend for the My Favorite Things Stamps, Wednesday Stamp Club # 46 Challenge. I loved this week's sketch and I plan to use it again for some more Christmas cards that I have to make. This week I decided to ink up this precious snowman from the Pure Innocence set called, Holiday Hugs and I teamed him up with this festive Echo Park Season's Greetings 6x6 papers. I did a little colouring with my Copics and paper pieced his scarf. I left the image in the die and inked with Old paper and Tumbled Glass Distress inks. I used the MFT Bracket Tab Die-namics and stamped one of the sentiments that comes in the Holiday Hugs set and then cut around the outer edge of the Die-nmaics die with my Fiskars Finger-Grip Craft Knife on a glass mat to create a mat for the bracket tab.

Photobucket
the sketch called for a flower embellishment but I decided to switch it with a little cluster of corrugated cardboard hearts cut with the Hearts of Plenty Die-namics dies. I painted the edges of the hearts with Picket Fence Crackle paint, cut a few Snowflakes from cork material with the Let it Snowflakes Die-namics Dies and added some BasicGrey Buttons tied with hemp twine. The tiny heart is cut with the heart die from the Notched Tag Stamps and Die-namics set. I also layered the Jumbo Scallop and Scalloped Scallop border Die-namics but then kinda covered it up with all the other stuff...oops!

Photobucket
Here is the inside of the card...I stamped a shadow image of the snowman and stamped another one of the sentiments that comes in the Holiday Hugs set on kraft carstock cut with the Polka Dots Greetings label Die-namics die and again I cut a mat from brown cardstock by cutting around the edge of the die with my craft knife.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card for this week's MFTWSC46 sketch challenge!

Hope you have a great week!

She is one of the six new Gothic Girls by Annie Rodrigue. I coloured her with my Copics and I had so much fun colouring her up...especially her hair...love her dreads! I stamped around the edge of the image with Kelly Panacci Flourish Border Stamp and Distress ink. I also used Stix2 Glue and Foil and added some bronze foil around the edges...I love how it turned out. I used some old MME called Spider's Web paper. I added some ribbon from my stash and some fab resin flowers and a little bling. The sentiment comes with Voodoo Lady and is stamped on kraft cardstock that I cut out with the MFT Bracket Tab Die-namics.
Photobucket
I have a second card to share with you featuring, Best Friends, by Annie Rodrigue. This was the special edition stamp made for the Krafty Day event that happened in October and will be available Sunday with the six new Gothic Girls for the November release. Again, I coloured the image with my Copics. I used Annalee Prima papers and flowers. The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and from the Thankful Sentiment Set

Photobucket
I distressed all the edges of the papers and painted them with Distress Crackle paint in Picket Fence.
Photobucket

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 45....Knit Happens!

Photobucket
Hello stampin' friends! Hope you have been enjoying the weekend. Well, my mom and dad should be on the cruise ship, Allure of the Seas, now and setting sail for the Caribbean soon. I am just wee bit jealous but very excited for them! I hope they can manage to relax and enjoy their vacation and the spectacular ship. Chris and I went on, Oasis of the Seas, it's sister ship and it is really something to see.

So, I made a card today for the My Favorite Things, Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch Challenge # 45! I really luv this sketch and I'll be using it again for sure! I decided to ink up this super cute ALM girlie from the set Knit Happens and I teamed her up with some gorgeous papers from the new BasicGrey Little Black Dress...this is my new fave BG papers at the mo!
Photobucket
I coloured the ALM girl with my copics and paper pieced her sweater, hat and leggings. I used lots of Die-namics on this card too, The Tag from Tag You're It Die-namics and Stamp Set, which I embossed with my Argyle Cuttlebug folder, the Perfect Petal Flower Trio and the Wonky Scallop border Die-namics...love, love, love the Wonky Scallop Border. The cute wood buttons were a find at Micheals in the $1.50 bins. The polka dot ribbon was bright white so I coloured it with a Copic Marker to make the spots more of a cream colour. I added a little cotton lace trim and stamped a sentiment from the ALM Knit Happens set on a tag cut with a QuicKutz die.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped the ALM Girl again with Desert Sand Memento ink and the sentiment and XOXO are from the More Essential Sentiments set. I stamped it on a frame cut with the Well Worn Greetings Die-namics and stamped the XOXO on the Die-namics dog tag.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card!

Happy Stampin'!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...Friends are...!

Photobucket
Hey Krafty friends! I have been making some cards today but I can't share them with you yet, smile! I thought I would post this card though. I made it just before I went to Krafty Day back in October....I forgot to blog it. I used my fave Angel Stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps from Annie's Angels release...Seraphina! She is so sweet!
Photobucket
I love the adorable little chicks all around her and she will be perfect for Easter cards too. Don't ya love versatile stamps!? I coloured her with my Copics cut around her and the pop-dotted her on the the small MFT Decorative Doily from the Decorative Doily Duo Die-namics. The papers are BasicGrey Nordic Holiday and I used the sentiment that comes with this sweet angel and I also made some flowers with the MFT Prima Donna Flower Die-nmaics. I added some Stickles to her wings and the chicks for a little sparkle and a sprinkling of green half-pearls!

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at another Christmas card! I hope you have a fab weekend...relaxing and perhaps some krafty time!

Happy stampin'!

Just Magnolia # 131....Anything Goes....Sweet Christmas Dreams!

Photobucket
And let the Maggie Christmas card making marathon begin, lol! Well, it is that time when I go nuts and try to make way too many Christmas cards in short period of time. In previous years, I've made a ton of cards for friends, family and everyone at work but I am not sure I will be able to pull that of this year but I'll still give it a go.

I have 2 cards to share  with you today that I made on the weekend, for the Just Magnolia Challenge Anything Goes Challenge #131 with the option of pearls and lace. I have used 2 of the stamps I received in the Fall Stamp club kit. This sweet Ribbon Tilda is my fave from the Sweet Christmas Dreams collection but hard to pick just one favourite as they are all so darn cute. I coloured her with my Copics and cut the image out with my oval Nesties and inked with Tattered Rose Distress ink. The papers are Times & Seasons by Echo Park, 6x6 paper pad. I embellished with the Magnolia Doohickeys Swirl and I cut a heart with my MFT Hearts of Plenty Die-nmaics, a few Snowflakes with my MFT Snowflakes Die-namics and added a BG Nordic Holiday button.  I added some pearls and for the "lace" I used the Faux Crochet Die-namics border die, then for a little sparkle a bit of Stickles to Tilda's heart ribbon.
Photobucket

For my second card I used more Echo Park Times & Seasons 6x6 papers and used Tilda with Cross-stitched Heart. I coloured her with my Copics and cut her out using the "Out of the Box' Technique so that it looks like she is sitting on the edge of the Circle Nestie. I inked with Pumice Stone Distress ink and embellished with some flourishes that I cut with the MFT Fancy Flourishes Die-namics die and I added a sprinkling of pearls and Stickles.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at the start of my Maggie Christmas cardmaking madness...I hope you won't get too bored with seeing all of them here, smile.

Happy Stampin'!

My Favorite Things Stamps...WSC # 44....Fight Like A Girl!

Photobucket
Hello stampers! Back today with a card that I made for the My Favorite Things Stamps Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge # 44. They have a great sketch again this week! I deviated a bit and went a little flower crazy, adding a few more flowers than what the sketch called for. I just love making my own flowers with the fabulous MFT Flower Trio Die-namics and Upsy Daisy Flower Builder Die-namics.
Photobucket
I used MME Lost and Found, Blush, 6x6 Papers and I teamed it up with this really cute A La Modes Girl, Fight Like a Girl, from the October release. I coloured her with my Copics and pop-dotted her on the the Large Die-namics Tag from The MFT Tag You're It Stamps and Die-namics set. I also used my Double Scallop Border Die-namics and the File Tab Die-namics. I stamped one of the sentiments that comes with the ALM set on the tab.
Photobucket
Here is the inside...I stamped the ALM girl again with Pink ink but for some reason she doesn't look pink in the pic.  The sentiments on the inside of the card are from the small stamp set that co-ordinates with the First Place Ribbon Award stamps and Die-namics set.

Well, Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card!

Have a Stampin' Great Day!

KKS Challenges # 103, BG Challenges # 56 & Pink Ink Sketch # 9...Baby...!!!

Photobucket
Hey Krafty friends! I made a card today and got a chance to play along with some of my favorite challenges!!!! I used the fab sketch by Natalie at Pink Ink Sketch Challenges, this week super duper Krafty Girl, Michele, is the hostess over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge and I thought I would play along with her challenge...Pin It Down...add a pin to your card and finally the challenge over at BasicGrey Challenges is Anything Goes! I have used my beloved Nordic Holiday 6x6 paper pad and Nordic Holiday Buttons.
Photobucket
For my card I have used snow bunny, Eva. Isn't she something else....I love her to bits!!! She is from the new Moonlight Whispers collection that was released in October. I picked up Eva and few of the other new Annie stamps when I was at Krafty Day! I had so much fun colouring Eva with my Copics and cut around her and pop-dotted her on the panel. I added some green crinkled seam binding, BG buttons, a sprinkling of green half-pearls, a pink hat pin. I stamped part of the sentiment for the front of the card.
Photobucket
Here is the inside....I stamped the rest of the sentiment for the inside. I used the MFT Well Worn Greetings Die-namics and the ribbon from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.

My Favourite Things...Best Pumpkin!!!

Photobucket
Hey crafty friends! Just a quick post of a card that I made this week using one of the super cute new A La Mode stamps from My Favorite Things Stamps, October release. I wanted to ink her up before the fall season is over. I also used several MFT Die-namics on this card too. The layout is from the great sketch that they had last MFTWSC43.
Photobucket
I coloured this cute ALM girlie from the set, Sweetest Pumpkin in the Patch. I thought with the size of this pumpkin it would definitely win Best Pumpkin at any Fall fair, so, I made a ribbon with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. I teamed her up with this gorgeous MME paper, Mischievous 6x6 paper pad....love the colours and the great patterns in this pad! I used my wood grain Fence Die-namics for the first time and I just love it. I cut it from cream American Crafts cardstock and then used my Ranger ink applicator tool and my new Gathered Twigs Distress ink to enhance the wood grain embossing that your get when you cut the die. The fallen leaves were cut with the Branch and Leaves Die-nmaics die.
Photobucket
Here is the inside....I used the Die-namics Sweet Stack and a sentiment from an older MFT sentiment set. I stamped a shadow image of the cute ALM girl again.

Well, thanks so much stopping by and having a wee peek at my card!

Hope you have a stampin' great day!

Hugs,
