Hey crafty friends! Well, I thought I would just quickly post the last of my Maggie Christmas cards for this year. I had fun making them but I'm now officially sick of making Christmas cards, lol! Well, here they are, I know it is a bunch of cards to post all at once....sorry, about that! I just wanted to get them on my blog for future reference, as I will miss them after I send them out, lol! I won't bore you with details as I am sure you know what I have done with them. They are very similar to all the other ones that I have made.
Photobucket
This card is for a friend who will be celebrating Christmas with her first baby granddaughter this year...I love this sweet baby Tilda! I think this one is my fave of this bunch.

Photobucket

I think this Edwin is so cute and it was fun colouring his candy cane stripe socks...very festive, smile!

Photobucket
Well, I totally fell in love with Gingerbread Tilda while colouring her! She is a doll!

Photobucket
This is one of my fave Tildas from the 2010 Christmas release and I love her as a red head!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge # 59....a DUDE's Challenge....Just Fore You and You're an ice friends!!!

Photobucket

Good morning Krafty DUDES and DUDETTES....This week at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge blog, we have a really fun challenge for you and the man in your life! How about taking a wee krafty break and letting the DUDE(S) in your life try their hand at a little krafting. Well, the Krafty GIRLS have handed the Copics and the stamps over to the men in their life and we let them riffle through our stash to make a KRAFTY DUDE card! It was a lot of fun too!  This week Clint the Cowboy is up for grabs as the prize and if you can coerce your big DUDE or a little DUDE into making a card for the challenge with a KKStamp, you could win a Clint the Cowboy stamp of your very own.

Also,  today is the last day to take advantage of the Kustomer Appreciation Special that Kimmie is having at the Kraftin' Kimmie on-line store and this is our last KKS challenge for the year and it will stay open until our First challenge of 2011 on January 8th....so you have lots of time for your Krafty DUDE to join us over the Christmas holidays!

So my hubby Chris made this card with Raymond the Golfer and added the sentiment that comes with him. He coloured Raymond with my Copics and I drew in the background and I think it looks awesome. He had this divot thingy that he added to embellish it a bit.

My Hubby, Chris' card

This card is made by my sweet Kieran he will be 9 years old on the 28th. I think he did a fabulous job colouring up this super cute image called Snowshoe Fun by Steven Leary from the December release of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. He really concentrated on doing his best job he could on the colouring! He asked if I had a snowflake stamp and I just so happened to have the stamp that comes with Antoinette and he used one of the sentiments from Kimmie's Holiday sentiment set.

So, last weekend, Chris and I went to Boston for a few days, for a little getaway and we had a fabulous time! He got tickets to his favourite hockey team, the Boston Bruins, so we took in the game on Saturday  and we went to the New England Aquarium. I fell in love with the super cute penguins there. We went to a few Irish pubs but found one called The Black Rose that we liked the best, as they had a good Irish band playing. I had some yummy New England Clam Chowder and ate the best Fish and Chips ever at Ned Divine's. It was a lot of fun! Boston is a beautiful city and I would love to go back again. I thought I would share a pic of some cute penguins....these guys were my fave! Akkkk... aren't they cute!

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at Chris and Kieran's cards and I hope you are able to convince your DUDE to join us at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge, smile!

Photobucket

Hey crafty friends! I hope you are having a good start to your weekend! I will definitely be using it on a few more Christmas cards that I need to make. I hope you can join us and please swing by the MDUC blog and check out all the gorgeous and yummy creations by the talented MDUC DT.

For my card I inked up this sweet stamp, Christmas Party Tilda, from the Magnolia Christmas Collection So Jolly 2009 I used the Magnolia Tree from this Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010 and embossed with Northern Lights embossing powder. I coloured Tilda with my Copics and I made an easel card wtih BG Jovial. I added some Prima and a WOC gardenia. I used BG Jovial buttons too. The sentiment on the tag is a Melissa France rub-ons.

Just Magnolia #84.... Believe and No Peeking!

Hey crafty friends! I made a few more christmas cards for the Just Magnolia challenge, Anything Goes with Sparkle!

Photobucket
I love this stamp, Tilda with Fir, she is so sweet and I love her Uggs, (I soooo want a pair, lol)! Again, I made yet another easel card with BG Jovial and a Magnolia Tree stamp embossed with Northern Lights embossing powder! I have to say keeping a similar style to all my Christmas cards has made the process easier. I used some AC ribbon, cotton lace trim and a Melissa Frances Rub-on and a Catslife Press label stamp.

Photobucket
For this card I coloured my favorite stamp, Secret Tilda, from the Magnolia Merry Little Christmas collection this year. I am totally in love with my new toner Copic markers too. I got T1, T3 and T5 at Scrapfest and will have to get a few more. They are absolutely fabulous for toning down some of the more vibrant colours. Adding the toner marker on Tilda's outfit gave me a grey teal colour that matched the paper better. Also my new fave Copic colour combo for Hair is E41, E42, E43, E44, E49....I have been using it a lot lately.  I used BG Jovial papers, an Elements sticker tag, a sheet from Capella pad and an Olivia fabric brad.  I embellished with Prima Flowers and lace trim. The sentiment stamped on the BG Elements sticker is from the Kelly Panacci Christmas stamp set.
Photobucket

I once again used the Magnolia tree embossed with Northern lights embossing powder for the sparkle and I also used my MFT large Scalloped border Die-namics die.

Photobucket
Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my cards! I still have a few more to make, oh boy, remind me next year to get cracking on the cards earlier, will ya, he, he, he!

Happy stampin'!

My Favorite Things...WSC Challenge...A Sketch...Snow Day!

Photobucket
Good morning crafty friends! We got some snow yesterday late in the afternoon and even though it was getting dark I let the kids go out in the front yard and play in it for a bit. Well, I have been pumping out cards left right and centre. I made 5 teacher cards yesterday, yes you read correctly 5 teachers. Kieran has 4 teachers this year, between the Reading program he attends and his regular class, this is one of the 5. I also picked up some tea lights from Bath and Body Works and wrapped them in pp and added some ribbon and a tag. I was going to make those cute tea light cards that everyone is making but I just didn't have the time to do it and these tea lights already came in a neat package so I thought I would just dress it up a bit.
Photobucket

For the card I used the great sketch that they have this week for the MFT WSC MFTWSC12012010  challenge. I decided to use some different pp, so I used my MME Holly Jolly paper pack. I coloured the image Merry KISSmas with my Copics and paper pieced it. I used a sentiment from one of the other PI stamp sets called Snow Day, a Catslife Press label and a sentiment from SCAC. I added a few Prima Poinsettias and some AC ribbon and cotton last trim. I also pulled out the old Liquid Applique again and this time added Stickles to it so it is rather sparkly IRL! I also added some Viva Decor black Pearl pen for the snowman's buttons.

well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card!

Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge...A Recipe...Beleive!

Photobucket

Just a super quick post tonight to share the card I made for the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge! Wanted to get this posted before I miss the deadline on the challenge. The challenge this week is a Recipe....3 patterned papers, 3 buttons or flowers and 3 gems (I'm only counting the gems on the main panel...hope that still counts, lol). I made yet another easel card with BG jovial pp and I coloured Tilda with my Copics. The Magnolia tree is embossed with Northern Lights embossing powder.

Photobucket

I added a Melissa France rub-on and used the Magnolia sentiment. I also added lots of Stickles to Tilda's Wings and wand.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card! I really hope you are not getting sick of Christmas cards....I'm getting pretty close to it myself so I wouldn't blame ya,lol!

Hugs,

More Christmas cards....MFT Warm Wishes and Merry KISSmas!

Photobucket

Good morning crafty friends! Hope you are enjoying the weekend! I have more Christmas cards to share with you. I made these just because....no challenge. Can you believe it!? Just a few more cards to add to the pile.  This card I used BG Jovial, of course, and this sweet PI girl called, Snow Day. I paper pieced her coat, hat, scarf and boots added some liquid applique for the snowballs and pompoms on her hat and I coloured the rest of her with my Copics!

Photobucket
I thought I would try this...with the image stamped on the inside...I really like how it looks.

Photobucket
More BG Jovial and this time I used this cutie PI girl called Flurry of Love. Again, I paper pieced her coat, hat and boots. More liquid applique and Stickles. Some Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

Photobucket

here is the inside.

Well, thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek at my cards!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge # 57...Let it "SNOW"....Holiday Hugs!

Photobucket

Good morning Krafty friends! It's time for another fun challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge blog! This week Jessica D. has set the challenge and she would like to see snow on your creation. This challenge was right up my alley, as I recently discovered liquid applique and I'm totally addicted to the stuff now, he, he, he! So I hope you can join us for the challenge. If you use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp on your creation then you will be entered into the draw to win Oliver as featured on Jessica's super cute card.

As you know I've been making a bunch of Christmas cards and I've been using my fave BasicGrey Jovial 6x6 papers and I did again on this easel card. I had this idea to use Jayne from the Pin-Up Girls collection and this scenery stamp. I'm so happy with how this card turned out...to me, it is like Jayne is inside one of those cute little houses, on a cold winters night. All warm and cozy by the fire with her cute little kitty. I coloured Jayne and the scene with my Copics and I added Liquid Applique and Stickles to the scene for the snow! I embellished with some Prima Poinsettias and BG brads and a little bling. I used a sentiment from Kimmie's Holiday Sentiment set and the sentiment on the bottom of the easel card comes with Christmas Clara!

Photobucket
Well, thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card! Please stop by the Kraftin'Kimmie Stamps challenge blog and check out the super cute and snowycards by the other Krafty Girls and Krafty Guests.  Oh, don't forget about the Krafty Khristmas Sale that Kimmie is having right now to December 5th! Just Magnolia #84....snuggle!

Photobucket

Hey crafty friends! I have a sick kiddo on my hands so I am home from work today with our wee Kieran! I got my house tidied up which is good and I am going to make some more Christmas cards this afternoon. I have a card to share with you this afternoon...yes, another Christmas card, smile! I have discovered liquid applique and I am going a bit crazy with the stuff, lol! It is lots of fun though and I love the look of it. I inked up this sweet image of Snowy Hugs...Tilda with her Snowman friend! I coloured the image with my Copics and I cut the image out and added my Liquid Applique and puffed it up with my heat gun. I pop dotted the image on the Nestie heart cut from BG Jovial papers. I added some sparkly red snowflakes and the sentiment "snuggle" is a Melissa Frances rub-on. I also used one of my Catslife Press label stamps. The sentiment on the bottom of the easel card is from Stamping Bella.

Photobucket

I am entering my card in the challenge over at Just Magnolia this week the challenge is Anything Goes with the option of sparkle!!! I added red Stickles to my QuicKutz snowflakes...very sparkly IRL!

My Favorite Things...GDT Challenge...Stitch it Up...Very Happy Birthday!

Photobucket

Good morning crafty friends! I thought I would give the GDT challenge over at My Favorite Things a go! The challenge is....Stitch it Up.....well, I'm sooooo not a sewer but I thought I would do my usual faux stitching with my stitching stamps and I also added a very little bit of hand stitching.  I did ask for a sewing machine for Christmas cuz I just love the look of machine stitching on cards but I got my pressie early...my iMac computer. I don't think I will be getting the sewing machine now but I am very happy with my mac so I can't complain, smile. Well, I am not sure I have much of a chance at winning the GDT spot as there are so many talented MFT fans out there who are sooooo good with the sewing machine but I needed to make a card anyways and I love how it turned out.

My daughter's BFF is turning 11 year old this week so this is her b-day card! I inked up sweet Birthday Ballon Jolinne and coloured her with my Copics. I made an easel card, my fave, with AC and Bazzill cardstock and used BG Olivia 6x6 pp. I added a doily that I spritzed with Glimmer Mists in Hula Hoop and Patina. I added stamped stitching to all the layers with Kelly Panacci Acrylic stitching stamps and stamped with Distress ink in Chipped Sapphire. I added a BG Olivia Canvas tag and embellished with a cork heart that I cross stitched on and a button. I added a QuicKutz tag and cut the number 11 from a QuicKutz alphabet out of the QuicKutz cork material too. The "Smile" sentiment in the BG Canvas heart tag is a Melissa Frances rub-on. I used the notebook edge die-namics die and Die-namics Framed Greetings stamp and die set on this card too. I also added some of this scrumptious and shimmery ribbon and sewed my button like I have seen, Joanne B. from Just a Little Something, do here in her buttony bow tutorial.

Photobucket
Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed and my toes too...eeekkkkk! I would sooooooooo love to be the MFT GDT for January. MFT has the December release coming up and a release party over on the MFT forum at Splitcoast Stampers on Wednesday December 1st, where they will announce the winner of the GDT challenge. If you are interested in joining the MFT GDT challenge you have until November 30 at 10:00 p.m EST...all the details are here!

Thanks for stopping by and having a wee peek at my MFT GDT card!

My Favorite Things...WSC Challenge...SIZE MATTERS!

Photobucket

Hey! I am back to share a card I made this weekend for the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge. This week the challenge (MFTWSC11242010) is Thankful for....! I have had this idea for this card for a while now and thought it was the perfect opportunity to whip up this cheeky thank you card! I am totally loving my A La Modes stamps and this girlie, Miss you a Latte, is my fave at the mo, with her huge take-out coffee cups...I am totally thankful for good coffee and for good friends...and I know just the friend to give this card to,smile!

Photobucket

So for my card I used October Afternoon papers mostly from the Very Merry Collection but I think one of the papers is from another collection. I coloured the image, Miss you a Latte, with my Copics and cut it out and pop-dotted on the Nestie die. I decided that this large green felt flower, that I have had in my stash for a while, would be perfect for this card and I stitched on a BG button with embroidery floss. I also added some crinkled seam binding and tied it in a double bow and added another BG button with embroidery floss. I thought it would be fun to use this "tongue in cheek" sentiment from my the MFT Twisted Sentiments set with the bottom sentiment from the MFT Essential Sentiments set. When it comes to coffee, size, certainly, does matter, lol!

Photobucket

Well, thank you grande for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #74....Summer-time theme....Memories of Summer!

Photobucket

Hello friends! it is time for a new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under challenges and this week the challenge is....Summer-time! What a nice departure this was from all the Christmas card making that I have been doing. I really enjoyed this challenge! I hope you can join us this week! Just remember that you need to use at least one Magnolia stamped image on your creation! The MDUC DT has gorgeous creations to share and to inspire you. Pop on over to the MDUC blog and visit the DT to see all their gorgeous creations!

Photobucket

I used a mixture of October Afternoon papers...very summery, I think. I also wanted to ink up this sweet image called Circus Tilda...to me she looks like a proper, Southern Belle, all dressed up, perhaps sitting out on the veranda, sipping a lemonade. I thought she would be perfect for this card. I used the Magnolia Summer background stamps to set the summery scene. I coloured all the images with my Copics and I cut the background image out with my circle Nesties and cut out Tilda and pop dotted her on the card. I used a little cotton lace trim and AC ribbon. I stamped one of the Catslife Press label stamps on craft card and the other sentiments are Melissa Frances rub-ons.

Thanks so much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my MDUC DT card!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge # 56....Seeing Spots!

Hey Krafty friends!!!! I am back with another post this morning! We have another fabulously fun challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge blog today! This week, The Queen of all things Krafty, Kraftin' Kimmie, herself, has set the challenge and she would like to see spots and dots on your creation!

So get out your spotty paper or dotty ribbon and join us! If you use a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp on your creation then you will be entered into the draw for some KKStamps rubbah! Kimmie has used the sweet Lavender the Quilter on her beautiful card and you could win a Lavender stamp of your very own!

So for my card...well, I actually made 3 cards but I kept them really simple, so they were easy to put together. I thought it would be good to have some smaller note size cards on hand for those times when you need a Christmas card and fast. I used this absolutely adorable image called Mice Angels by Steven Leary! I coloured the images with my Copics and used Prism cardstock and BG Jovial 6x6 paper and some BG Wassail and Jovial brads.

Photobucket

I also added some Stickels to the images and used some ribbon from my stash. The sentiments are from Kimmie's Holiday Sentiment set. I am quite happy with how these turned out and they were sooooo quick to put together....love that! I think I might make a few more, smile.

Well, I hope you can join us at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge this week! Please stop by the KKStamps challenge blog and see all the beautifully spotty and dotty creations by the Krafty Girls!

Have a stampin' great day!
